Politics and Society between Elections (2017-2019)is a public opinion survey of political subjectivities, social attitudes, friendship networks, and governance outcomes in India. This report highlights narratives emerging from contemporary social and political discourses on nationalism, populism, institutional trust, gender roles, caste, class and community relationships, citizen concerns and aspirations. The study is a three year research collaboration between Azim Premji UniversitysCentre for Regional Political Economyand Lokniti (CSDS) and covers 23 States and the National Capital Region.
The report will be launched on Friday, March 29, 2019, 4PM at the Mother Tekla Auditorium, Bangalore. The launch event includes a presentation of the main findings of the report as well as remarks by well-known experts.
