Robert Frost gave our conscience something to keep forever when he said these lines. Indeed our decision to be on one particular road or to be on a road at the first place only, is a decision which certainly makes a huge difference. And on road trips, when you have your friends with you but you guys get bored with some ominous silence, there have to be some saviours present with you to the rescue of your happy vibe.

Yunhi Chala Chal Rahi – Swades
Kailash Kher And Udit Narayan! An unlikely combination of vocals who gave a track so hipster that its music video also has a very unlikely combo of Makarand Deshpande and Shahrukh Khan!
Dil Chahta Hai (Title Track) – Dil Chahta Hai
Could we have missed this one? It is undoubtedly the Friendship anthem of this country and it should be the theme song of each and every of the hotels in Goa.
Khwabon ke Parindey – Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
A song which can be described as the lullaby to eccentricity. If any of your friends is going hyperactive, you know what you gotta play.
Suhana Safar Aur Yeh Mausam Haseen – Madhumati
Yesteryear have given us some real gems in every sphere of life and this one is so good, that it still feels relevant and contemprary.
Zindagi Ek Safar Hai Suhana – Andaaz
Celebrating life and joy, this song is the go-to when you feel a little dull and need some energy in your body. Sing along with Kishore Kumar.
Hairat – Anjana Anjani
Not so great movie, but a great decision to bring in
Lucky Ali for this song. A rumbling guitar piece with great production in this song.
Kabira – Ye Jawani Hai Deewani
When it comes to soulful songs in a modern, trendy setting, Ranbir Kapoor is the poster boy for it. Tochi Raina has done some really good work in this song, taking you to your peace.
Patakha Guddi – Highway
A peppy number with good vocals and A.R. Rehman's music, easily making into this list. Wish booking a room in luxury hotels in Delhi too was as easy as this. Or it has already been done by MiStay?
Loose Control – Rang De Basanti
Another track which is considered a friendship anthem. Listen to this song and if you have seen Rang de Basanti then your hands start doing that Aamir Khan's step automatically.
Hum kis gali jaa rahen hai – Atif Aslam
Atif Aslam is a heartthrob and has been a flag-bearer in Indie Rock, and this track speaks volumes about the kind of work he has done till now.
Chhaiyan Chaiyaan – Dil se
Rehman strikes again! He created a song which broke all boundaries of time and still makes you dance to its tune even after 2 decades of its release.
Tanha Dil Tanha Safar – Shaan

A great movie, and a great song which speaks for itself. Amit Trivedi's music grows gradually and makes you feel the chills.

While listening to this song, you will understand what a clever and talented musician like Vishal Bharadwaj can do with so less music production.
Kyon – Barfi
Mandolin has always been iconic in Bollywood and the strings in this track sung by the melodious Papon is a soothing sound to your ears.

We couldn't have completed this list without mentioning this song. Lucky Ali has one of the most mesmerising voices of Bollywood and this track is an upbeat number which makes you drive along to its beats.
