4 walls, a roof, nobody to talk to and you are all alone. That is basically what a quarantine life looks like. With corona-virus infecting the entire world, these buzz words have become a way of life in the year 2020. With the lock-down extending day by day, life has come to a full stop. The traveling plans for the weekend and going to a couple-friendly hotel room nearby to spend the holidays with your partner are distant dreams now. The joy of going on a road trip with your friends and staying by booking room in between to relax has taken a back seat.

Whenever you are exposed to a doubtful corona positive person or you have traveled during this lock-down due to some reason, then you are bound to stay alone under quarantine for 14 days to ward off any virus infection. If you are staying with your family then you can confine yourself to a room and keep a considerable distance from your family members. If you are staying alone then you have the entire home to yourself. If you are quarantined alone in your home, then going to the seating area in front of the television and resting on your sofa is one of the most relaxing things you can do. You can get some snacks and tune in to your favorite channel. You can also start reading all the books that you have in your “reading to do” list. With the hectic schedule of work, weekend fun, and family responsibilities, when was the last time you spent some time in your room and cleaned it properly? Now that you have some time in your hands, you can very well look around your bedroom, and plan for some cleaning. You can discover some treasures which you might have lost long back. Since it is your personal space, you can add a bit of personalization into it. After the cleaning, you will suddenly notice a bigger and beautiful bedroom.

5-Your bathroom

Which is the best place to get your thinking hats on? It is loo where you can sit back, relax, and think about various things. When you are stuck at home in quarantine, you can just visit your bathroom to get a long hot bath with essential oils and body scrub in the water and scented candles on the side. This will make you relax and will rejuvenate you. The lockdown and quarantine blues that you had might ease a bit as well.

6-Virtual music convert

If you are a music lover, then you can tune in to live - streaming of music concerts and enjoy like never before. Many celebrities and musicians have been live streaming concerts through various channels during this lockdown period.

7-Virtual museum tour

If you are history buff, then worry not, you have ample time in your hands to go for a virtual museum tour to your favorite museum. 8-Go on a virtual date with your Partner

When you are under quarantine, then nobody is allowed to come near you or stay with you, not even your partner or close family member. Being alone for 14 days is tough. You miss the weekend fun and going to a couple-friendly hotel nearby to spend some time with your partner. But worry not, you can schedule a virtual date and can spend some time together or even dine together virtually.

9-A walk down the stairs

Staying quarantined doesn’t mean sleeping all day and lazing on the bed. It will have severe health issues. A minor workout is necessary for the healthy functioning of the body. Since you can’t go outdoors, so using the stairs for this purpose is the only option left.  Hence, you can walk down and up the stairs at your home for some time. This will help you get the blood rushing throughout your body. If you do not have any stairs, then no problem, just use a low stool or table solid enough to hold your weight.

10-A visit to the balcony or rooftop

As humans, it is extremely difficult to stay inside the room like a prisoner for so many days. Hence, it is ok to just spend some time at your rooftop and balcony alone looking at the scenery and taking care of plants. You can sip into your evening tea there as well.

Not just quarantine days, you can do all these during your lockdown period as well. Maintaining social distance, staying at home, and staying safe are the only things that we can do during this pandemic.
