2.      Nalli Nihari

Nalli Nihari is a flour-based stew made with shanks and bone marrow of goat or lamb in a stock pot. The meat is sauteed in spices and clarified butter. After five minutes, the nihari masala is added to the meat and slowly cooked. Lastly, flour is carefully dissolved in water and added to the stock pot. Plated with freshly squeezed lime and garnished with coriander it will leave you asking for more. Nalli Nihari is best enjoyed with khareemi roti or Kulcha.

3.      Haleem

One of the famous dishes of Ramazan, you will find haleem in every house during the holy month. Infamously called porridge, it is a thick and sticky stew consisting of a mixture of blended meat, lentils, barley and broken wheat, served with a tadka of ghee and garlic and topped with a freshly squeezed lemon and fried onions. 4.      Phirni

This one is for all our dessert lovers! A grainy pudding made of rice, sugar and milk. The dish comes in a small clay pot topped with Kesar and a few dry fruits. It can also be made in different flavours such as mango, oats, apple, chocolate and custard-apple. The dish is so light and yummy that you might end up eating 3 to 4 servings.

5.      Paya
