Work as much as you can but if you have tasted the blood of being on a journey, you know your cubicle will not feed your hunger of that thrill. Even months after your last vacation you can still feel the winds on your face when you were standing on top of the hills of Munnar, and the full moon night you saw in Jaisalmer. These are some moments which can only be felt, and not explained. And nothing can compare to the joy which you get when you perceive a new episode at a new city.

While some of you might be thinking to quit your job, pack your bag, and take off to places around the world. Some of you realise that you have a stomach to feed and bills to pay, and also that to book a ticket you'll need few paper with the picture of a famous leader on it. Reality check, huh? Though being the next Alexander Supertramp is kinda little far-fetched but you sure can travel while you make money. There are many jobs which will allow you to go to different places. Taking the journey is a part of these jobs. Now we could've listed each one of them, but personally, not all of them are fun!

These are interesting occupations which are challenging enough for you to engage in them without getting bored and yes, they let you travel with a payday waiting for you. So here are 9 jobs which we think are a mix-bag of fun, and competitive work profiles.

Fly to new places!

The job which will take you places, literally. Join a cabin crew, and you will get to groom all your personal skills, learn new languages and make real good money out of it. You will be meeting new people and seeing so many places. For people who love clouds(because Baadal important hai baabu!), it is a dream job. Everyday you'll be in a new city, and in your off-hours, just explore the city.

Freelance as a Translator!

A very different career choice altogether and something which let's you scoot around with mostly notable personalities. Not just in a business deal between a French company and an Indian tycoon, but translators are also needed by diplomats, politicians, bureaucrats or even professionals when they travel to foreign countries. It is a decent pay, you get to meet impressionable personalities and your travel standards are also great in their company. Just make your translation doesn't starts a war. Just saying.

Cruise around!

Most of us go by the conventional way of travelling whether by bus, train or flight. But ever thought of sailing around, and from Hotel Tiara Bangalore where a cab was waiting for you outside to take you to airport, you straightway shoot for the nearest port and take a stroll in the Arabian Sea. You can join a Commercial Cruise staff in any of the department you feel confident. Be a performer, a crew member or bartender. Any hospitality skill will take you on a voyage in the blue depths.

Be a Teacher!

A teacher here means a class of quarreling or grumpy students, a bossy principal and nowhere to go. A teacher anywhere will also mean the same but with somewhere to go. A new place will give you the opportunity to add experiences in your life lessons, and if you love kids you can be their inspiration which may lead them writing a book about you someday! And you can be a teacher of any discipline, from English language to Dance to Quantum Physics. Join a right teaching body, and follow the trail.

Import and Export!

Bring in electronics from Taiwan and drop them in Vizag. Crack a deal in one of the hotels in Kolkatta and then fly-off to San Francisco for the goods which need your attention. Import/Export is a great line of work which allows you to travel around a lot, while making a bunch of money. Your network gets strong and who knows, if your stride is firm, you might end up with a really good business too.

Capture everything in your camera!

Everyone needs pictures and videos. A TV channel wants it for increasing their TRPs, a newly-wed bride wants to save her memories till eternity, and a Director just wants it to express his story. And if you need a frame of Belgium, you can not shoot it in Belgaum. A Photographer/Cinematographer is a profession which is always in demand and with every new location, you find travelling little closer to you each step. It is good pay, a really cool profile, and lots of attention for you. And yes, you get to travel!

Volunteer for a cause!

Helping someone is something which is a bit uncommon these days. Making someone smile, healing somebody's wounds or just spreading the message of peace is not a deed we think about doing. But organisations like Peace Corps help you volunteer around the world at places in need of your attention. It is not a big check at the end of the month as a volunteer, but if you like backpacking, and enjoy budget travelling, this is the thing to do. Imagine changing the world around you, one city at a time!

Spread your art!

If you ask me, this is what I will do. Someone will call you one Friday eve and ask you that "Are you free to stage a drama next month in Berlin?", and you will answer "Yes". Being an artist of any form of art always allows you to travel with a passion to follow, and an audience for your hardwork. Start an Art exhibition in Florence, Italy or perform your Hip-Hop routine in Las Vegas for a crowd cheering for you. If you're good at it, people will pay you and you spend all your paychecks in booking flights for the next place you will be going to. Sounds amazing to me.

Live to travel.

Yes, this exists. People will pay you to travel. No other day job, no sneaking out of work for going out. It will be you, your backpack and the road ahead of you. A little tough to achieve but you can become a Travel Blogger. It will take time to gather a fan base, to become good at your craft of Writing or Vlogging, but sooner or later, you will reach there. You will get paid for you being at a new place everyday. Come on, this is too good to be true!

Incredible, right? While you are reading this article at your Delhi airport hotel waiting for the next flight taking you back to your cubicle, some of us are making this world are cubicle. It is really spacious, great air-condition, spectacular view from our seat and yes, money to buy our food.

Adios!
