This movie has Shahid Kapoor playing the role of a suicidal business tycoon in a failed relationship who meets the bubbly and cheerful Geet, played by Kareena Kapoor on a train to Delhi. The movie then has Geet take him to meet her family in Bhatinda and a series of events that happen after they run away from there.
